All orders placed on this site are subject to the general terms and conditions of sale.

LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO reserves the right to adapt or modify these terms at any time, with the version applicable to any transaction being the one displayed online on the site www.lachouetteparis.com at the time the order is placed. The site is the sole property of LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO, as well as all associated rights.

Any full or partial reproduction is subject to the authorization of LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO.

These terms of sale are intended to define the contractual relationship between LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO and the buyer, and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the online store www.lachouetteparis.com.

These terms shall take precedence over any other general or specific conditions not expressly approved by LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO.

I. THE CUSTOMER

The customer declares that they are a natural person, at least 18 years old, and have the legal capacity or parental authorization to place an order on the site. The customer acknowledges having read, at the time the order is placed, the specific terms of sale stated on this screen and expressly accepts them without reservation. When entering their personal information in the "my account" section, the customer must ensure the accuracy of the required data provided. In the event of an error in the recipient's contact details, LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO cannot be held responsible for any delivery failure. LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO reserves the right to cancel any order if the customer's IP address is located in a country different from the billing and/or shipping address.

II. PRODUCTS

The products offered for sale are those described on the site. LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO takes the utmost care in presenting and describing these products to best inform the customer. However, non-substantial errors may appear on the site, which the customer acknowledges and accepts. In any case, if the delivered product does not conform to its description on the site, the customer may either exercise their right of withdrawal or apply the conformity guarantee from LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO, which will, if necessary, proceed with either an exchange or a refund (in whole or in part) of the amount charged.

III. ORDERS

In this case, LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO will notify the customer by email. If the customer fails to correct erroneous or non-compliant information, LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO reserves the right not to process the order.

An email summarizing the order (products, price, product availability, quantity, etc.) will be sent to the customer by LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO. To this end, the customer formally agrees to the use of email for confirmation of their order by LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO. In all cases, invoices are provided upon delivery.

IV. PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS

Price determination.

Product prices are indicated in euros, including taxes but excluding shipping fees. The total order price (including taxes and shipping) is shown in the cart.
LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO reserves the right to change prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is registered, subject to availability.
Prices listed on the site www.lachouetteparis.com apply only to LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO.

Payment methods.

Products must be paid for in full on the day the order is placed. Payment can be made by:

– Paypal

– Alma (installment payment)

The customer accesses a dedicated space provided by a banking institution that ensures the security and recording of the payment order. In this regard, the customer expressly acknowledges that providing their credit card number to LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO constitutes authorization to debit their account for the value of the ordered products.

Installment payments with Alma:
If you pay for your order in installments, you agree to the Alma customer terms and conditions as well as the special conditions for LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO customers.

The data recorded and stored by LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO constitutes proof of the order and all transactions. The data recorded by the payment system serves as proof of financial transactions.

V. DELIVERY

Delivery is made to the shipping address provided by the customer, which must be either the customer’s residence or that of another physical person residing in mainland France. Delivery cannot be made to hotels or P.O. boxes.

To ensure timely delivery, the customer must provide accurate and complete information regarding the delivery address (including, for example: street number, building, stairwell, access codes, name and/or intercom number, etc.).

The delivery times provided are indicative, corresponding to average processing and shipping times. LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO cannot be held responsible for any delays not caused by its own actions.

In the case of damaged parcels (already opened, missing items, etc.), the customer agrees to notify both the carrier and LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO by any means within 3 days of receiving the product.

VI. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The individual customer has a right of withdrawal, which they may exercise without reason, within 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the delivery of the order. This must be done by returning, at their own expense, the unused products (in their original packaging, unworn, unused, unmodified, unwashed, undamaged, with no signs of assembly, and with all accessories, user manuals, and documentation), along with the order number, to the following address:

LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO will refund the amounts already paid by the customer, minus any shipping fees, in accordance with the conditions described in Article VII below.

VII. REFUND

Refunds for products under the cases mentioned in Articles II and VI will be made by LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO within a maximum of 30 days after receiving the returned items. The refund may be issued as a standard refund or as store credit valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

VIII. GOVERNING LAW

Any order implies the customer’s full acceptance of the general terms of sale. These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, only French courts shall have jurisdiction. In the case of any difficulty or complaint related to an order, the customer may contact Customer Service to seek an amicable resolution.

IX. DATA PROTECTION

The information collected by LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO when a customer places an order is necessary for the management of the transaction and may be shared with LA CHOUETTE CAFE VELO’s service providers involved in processing the order. The customer is informed that this personal data may also be collected by an entity responsible for order analysis and credit card fraud prevention. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, the customer has the right to access, rectify, oppose, and delete their personal data.
